I have been such a short time in the art world after 38 years teaching. I find art to be an enormously satisfying way to spend my old age. I have had lessons from Judy Fairley - a Dahmen Barn resident artisan as well as a teacher - and enjoy working in pastels. One of my favorite things is working on projects for the holidays. I certainly like making wreaths at Christmas time and am happy to be donating one to the Barn for their Christmas festival. Those of us in the Snake River Showcase Co-op studio truly love the time we spend at the Barn and expecially enjoy the people we meet there.
