Anita Roche' is the featured artisan for the month of July. She has been working in her textile art studio since November 2006.Says Anita: Goodness! I’ve been invited to be the Featured Artisan at the Artisan’s Barn for July and for this I need to write something about myself for the newsletter. Daunting task! What a fabulous opportunity this has been for me as an aspiring artist to surround myself with such incredibly talented people. By their presence and their work, without saying a word, this group of people inspires me to stretch, to explore beyond my self-imposed limits. I look forward to continuing to put fabrics together in ways that I haven’t before, as well as beginning to revisit clothing construction.
