Tim Walters

 |
Tim Walters specializes in graphite drawings and photography, but loves to explore in a wide variety of mediums. He believes a person who never makes mistakes seldom or explores into the unknown seldom makes anything else or goes any where. Recently he has worked with colored pencils, pastels, and clay. With a passion for portraits and botanical subjects, he looks for unique points of view and perspectives that draw out and define the underlying character. Tim is self taught in the arts, and so is easily able to think outside the box and express himself outside of the "rules" of academic art. He believes that every individual line and color will make or break a piece. Having recently returned to the Palouse (where he grew up), Tim is currently working for the family farm and research business. For the past several years, Tim has done landscaping in western Oregon and in central Arizona. His work can be seen at the Artisans at the Dahmen Barn in Uniontown, where he is a resident artist. He also does contract and freelance work for Alternate Reality Image and Design in Lewiston, Idaho. His long term goal is to eventually have a career in the arts and landscape design.
